A. Todd Inman
Founder A. Todd Inman has always had the gift for communication. Whether written or verbal, Todd has excelled since childhood. Going back to high school, Todd was named “Best Personality” and “Most Friendly” in the yearbook. Todd was the first to integrate his elementary school, so he learned to have strong relationships with everyone regardless of ethnicity, country of origin, or sexual orientation. As he entered a high school which was 5% Black, Todd wanted to inspire the ambition of his Black schoolmates. He became the first two-term president of the Black Student Union. Todd’s initiatives led to changing the generational wealth of Black students because of their exposure to Black pride and higher education.
Todd wanted the HBCU experience so he enrolled at Hampton University. He continued his communication development and selected English as a major. He became a member of the 113-year-old fraternity, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. It was the fraternity that helped fill in the blanks of manhood training that he missed from an absentee father. He took leadership roles within the chapter, like guiding young men through the process of joining. He also took action to enact plans to keep the relationship with his pledge class strong for the duration of their lives. Thirty years later the pledge class is known as the standard for closeness and inventiveness.
After graduation, Todd endured an unanticipated physical attack that resulted in him having a 1% chance of survival and recovery. He used his survival as motivation to live a fruitful life and to leave behind a legacy of being a difference maker. Todd now dreams big and leaves a trail of positive change from everything he touches.
Todd has won innovator awards at Johnson and Johnson, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Telly Awards, and Essence Fest. He has an MBA from Saint Joseph’s University, Philadelphia, PA.
